Tuaran Crocodile Farm, Sabah

Tuaran Crocodile Farm is the largest crocodile farm in Sabah, it accommodate more than 1000 crocodiles in. The farm operates on a land adjacent to 32 km, Sulaman Highway, Tuaran in northern of kota kinabalu city. With more than 50-years old of establishment, the farm is packed with ample knowledge of captive breeding and crocodile farming and has an international reputation for producing superior quality raw skins and meat. The farm is one of the major commercial producer of Crocodylus Porosus (saltwater crocodile) worldwide.

How do you go to Tuaran Crocodile Farm? It is very easy to go there just follow the map above. To make sure you are in the correct way to the crocodile farm, you will pass through university Malaysia sabah if you come from kota kinabalu town. After that you will pass through the Salut seafood Restaurant which is in my previous post. You can have your lunch at there.

Next you will see the Gayang Seafood Restaurant where I never try the food in this restaurant before.

Then you have the chance to see the 5 star hotel- Rasa Ria Resort. You can go there to have a look of the resort and see the beach there. It is really a nice resort.

Finally you will see this sign board indicates that you have reached the farm.

Along Jalan Sulaman, you will see a row of shops that sell coconuts.

What is the special of those coconuts? Do you know what is “Kelapa bakar”? See the photo as shown below, this coconut is good for the health especially for the girls according to the boss. I think you must try it if you pass through these shops. The cost of one "kelapa bakar" is RM 2.50.
This is coconut puding. It costs me RM4. Do you can imagine the sweet of puding + sweet of coconut ,hence it is the sweet of the puding coconut.

The photo shows below is the "Lokan paggang" ! I do not know how to explain the taste until you come to try about it.

This is my first view when i entered the crocodile farm as shown in photo below.

Talk about the crocodile farm, why do not have any photos about the crocodile? The crocodile photo will be in my next post.

This is one of the big crocodile in that farm. It is having the show now. Please continue come to support my next post.
