Miracle for ums robocon team c

It is a miracle for UMS robocon team C that participate at University Kebangsaan Malaysia at March this year. Why I say ums robocon team c is a miracle for ums? This is because this team set up in one week, no budget for them, no good equipment for them, no enough motor for them, no enough aluminium for them. But they did not give up for this, they come up with simple idea that do not use any motor to control the one of their robot. But they have full spirit to build and rush their robot, they even did not sleep for few days but they never complained for tired. They didn’t go to class because they wanted to test their programming in their robot. I am sure that they will not regret that they get poor result at the final exam because they really love the robocon ums and they want to prove to other that they have ability to win in the games.

In competition, maybe many other groups and even ums team may think that they are poor with their simple design and…... But they are wrong. They are under-estimate their ability. At the round robin, their robot success to carry two times the yellow butter in 3 games which carry the highest mark than other butter.

Their robot used less that 20 second to carry the yellow butter which is very fast and surprising to other I think.

Although they lost in round robin but we really can see their fighting spirit that other ums team didn’t have this type of spirit. UMS team C just one week times , they can able to carry 2 times yellow butter in 3 games, but Ums team B only able to carry one times yellow butter in 5 games and UMS team A fail carry the yellow butter in 3 games.

Lin Dan Vs Lee Chong Wei

How you feel Lee Chong Wei VS Lin Dan in Olympic Beijing 2008 after you watch it? I still remember that day i go very early to mamak stall to watch it because i study at sabah that my house do not have television. So i need go to mamak stall to watch. That row of mamak stalls are full of people come to support Lee Chong Wei. When Lee chong wei start to walk to the court , all of us shout for him. The feeling at there are so nice but maybe lee chong wei cant hear from me. Through the television we can notice that all people going there are support and shout for Lin Dan. Do you can imagine how pressure lee chong wei is? Unfortunately i cannot imagine. At the first games we can see that lin dan totally control the court. When playing rally, lee chong wei even cant find the weaknesses of lin dan ! After that lee chong wei make the mistake by himself. lee chong wei is strong in playing net and drop shot but that days he is out of performance maybe he is influence by china people there that come to support lin dan !! I think that lee chong wei is already try his best and playing very well for his games. If people who is know what is badminton will understand that lee chong wei is already try his best , for those who is just go to support lee chong wei maybe will blame for lee chong wei because they might feel that lee chong wei is very poor that times.At the second games i hear that the people beside my table say that please give lee chong wei at least one mark because at starting lin dan vs lee chong wei (8-0) , i really very sad that to hear about it . Lin Dan is totally know the strategy of lee chong wei , and lee chong wei cant defense the ball from lin dan ! What i can say that about this games is lin dan is really top performance at this games.At the end i want to say that if people who do not understand badminton well they will say lee chong wei is very lousy or.... !! If people who understand the badminton will understand the difficult lee chong wei meet that times. Although lee chong wei lost at the end but he still smile to lin dan show the high sport spirit himself. What about if lin dan lost ? He sure will throw his racket and even do not want shank hand with lee chong wei and blame this and that !! This is what lin dan do when he lost . We love you, lee chong wei !!

UMS ROBOCON EXPERIENCE

7 august 2008, Thursday, 8.00pm, robocon learning , although I have 2 assignment that I haven’t finish and Friday I need to pass up but I still go to robocon lab to learn. I really want to know what is robocon and how we communicate those robot. That is the reason and will always push me go to learn about robocon. Today a very nice day that I learn about citron ar40b autonomous robot control board. With this board we can control the robot by given the programming language to PIC and program the board.


Everybody is waiting for our robocon lecturer and chatting with each other. Some is doing revision for last lecture. Everybody is preparing learn the new things with full spirit.


Our big ums robocon family learn the circuit board together. We really enjoy and learn together with each other.

Our robocon lecturer that is my friend , Justin Yap. But too poor with his writing and drawing. He should take some drawing courses. haha, just joking.

Somebody is tired to learn about the circuit board. Maybe he is waiting for going home and sleep.haha. It is going home soon.

At the end i learn many things about circuit board today. But i finish my 2 assignment until the next days morning. It is a worse experience for me.

Salut seafood restaurant

Salut Seafood Restaurant (located on the sea front about 30 kms from Kota Kinabalu ) 3 Mile Jalan Tuaran Telipok, P.O.Box 22788, Luyang 88450 Sabah, Malaysia Tel: +6088-301 300 The easiest direction would be from the roundabout just before reaching Nexus Resort, head toward Tuaran, when you come to another roundabout, that nine o'clock, go about 800m, you will see a signage to this restaurant on the left.(copy from http://www.tuaran.com/articles/Sabah-Seafood-Restaurants.html).
This is my first times my friends and i go to salut seafood restaurant to eat and enjoy after we already finish the exam. If you study in UMS you must go to try to eat at salut.Otherwise you will regret about it next times.



This is the price of the seafood in the salut. We take this photo because we want to go to eat at salut again next time.haha. After we take this photo we discover the the red shirt guy is looking at that girl. So do not be jealous when your girlfriend is looked by other guys in salut !! hehe.

This is the first dishes we eat at that day. The prawn is really very very very fresh, fresh until you cannot believe about it. But do not suck the prawn 's head because all the prawn is fed at the lake.So it is very smelling at its head.

These are some dishes that you cannot miss out when you go to salut seafood restaurant to eat.

I want strongly introduce this dish. This is special lokan that you cannot eat in other places.You only can eat at sabah. When this dish is coming , it has very nice smell and when you eat it , a lot of sweet water come out.i really cannot describe how delicious this dish are , please try it when you go to salut restaurant to eat.Oh my goodness. What they are doing ? They are fight to get the food. For this case who has long hand who will win. The left hand side guy has longer hand than the right hand side guy.He should thank for his parent.

He is so happy eating at salut seafood restaurant and he smile with his smaller eyes. He is looking so cute. Agree with me?You will have that type of feeling if you eat at there !

Wah , even the so big cabbage he also want to eat. Izzit he is look more handsome when he put the lokan as his earing ? haha.

After we finish to eat everything , the table look so dirty. We successfully eat around RM 350 at salut at very first times. Although it is quite expensive but we really very happy and enjoy.

Before we go back we take a photo for this trip. Everybody is looked so happy. WHich one is more handsome? Of course the guy who wear the black shirt , that is me.We must come to salut to eat if you come to sabah or you study at UMS. GOODBYE SALUT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT. WE WILL COME BACK AGAIN AFTER WE FINISH EXAM.

UMS Robocon

Today i wish to introduce my favourite club --->Robocon UMS.UMS bookfair is held on UMS dewan canselor and robocon ums has some shows at there. The above photo is shown some preparation of robocon ums in the Bookfair. Why only one person at there? This is because he is our favourite and lovely and even responsible robocon president. So he want to make sure everything is well-done.
This is one of our small part in our big big ums dewan canselor. Even 3000 or 4000 people can come together to our big big dewan canselor, there are enough place for them, do not worry.haha.

My friend explained what is meaning of robocon to them. If they are interested we will try to ask them to join our big family. From the photo we can see that he is looking at that girl maybe that girl is too pretty so he lost his concentration. Do you agree with me? And the guy at right hand side also see that girl ...........maybe he hopes that the girl can join the robocon.


This is our small "racing car " known as FOrmula One.

Wah this small kid control a big robot.He is so happy because he can play free "racing car". hehe. But this "racing car" is really expensive around RM 4000. The kid is so lucky .

Wah wah wah ...... !! The big robot can do the same thing as the the small robot. How can it do that? Maybe this is your question that you curious want to join. I still a small member in ums robocon so i still cannot answer this question . Maybe after few month i learn i can answer this question already.

Wah what is this ? so small robot but it is so clever. It can turn around without hit anythings.This is at UMS bookfair and UMS Robocon invited by UMS bookfair to do something at there. So my friend design this small robot to let everybody know what is the true meaning of robocon and give some idea of that !
